I must have had fun, I feel like shit
The Poly weekend at the cottage turned out to be lots of fun. Had a fair amount of ppl show up, went swimming a few times, took the canoe out, had lots fo great food. Now I am exhausted, slightly sunburned, and very achey and sore.
I will confess to being terrified the weekend was going to suck on Friday, when the only person there besides PG and I was a very sketchy 40-something guy. I got the impression that if he hadn't been so throughly shy he would have been asking us when the sex started. I continue to be baffled by the phenomenon of older, completely socially inept guys that show up at poly events. Damn near all of them are either long divorced, or haven't had a relationship in years (or ever). Its like they've found that monogamous women aren't willing to sleep with them because of their lack of social skills, lack of interesting conversation, lack of hygiene, etc. so now they're hoping that poly women (who in most cases already have partners with a basic amount of social ept) will now sleep with them. Would be kinda darkly amousing if it wasn't such a major hassle for said women.
PG's husband came by on Sat with their kids, and I ended up spending a lot of time playing with them, espeically at the beach. Their great kids and can be a lot of fun, and the more time I spend around kids the more certain I am that I don't want my own. But I'm more than glad to be the weird uncle. :)
This week I'm hoping to at least get started on emily's transmission rebuild. Also I need to recover so that I'm in decent shape for pi-con this coming weekend.

"So I have long had my rattail of hair, both the earlier incarnation in elementary school, and the current incarnation I started shortly after I began college. For the last 3-4 years it has stayed nearly constantly braided in an ever longer thin braid down my back.
And often enough that it fails to surprise me, people threaten (nearly always jokingly) to cut it off. ( long and rambly )

Trying to figure out the benifits (or even what is covered under) any given cell phone plan so that I can weigh them and decide which one I want makes me watn to eat my head.
I think I'll go over to the T-Mobile store and make them explain it to me. Then if I get annoyed enough I can eat their heads.
