A realization
I realized something last week. With pretty much one exception, I don't just hang out with my friends anymore. If I get together with them it is for a structured activity (dinner, movie, con, etc.), and more often than not it is at somewhere other than my or their place.
I used to mostly just go over to friends places and we'd hang out and BS, or watch movies, or TV< or play games or whatever. But that almost never happens anymore. And when it does happen it is a more formal structure (like the "Car Chase Movie Nights" I have), rather than just a matter of getting together and doing whatever we get an idea to do.
No idea where to go with this thought, but it was interesting when it occurred to me.
