"It's amazing what having a deadline will do for getting shit done. I've got a set of claw gloves I've ment to replace the picks in with a better (ie not so thin & prone to bend) set. I've been putting off finding a source for the picks & doing the work for months.
Now I've been invited to a New Years party, and the person having it has made it clear that they'd like me to bring my 'toys'. So today not only did I get the picks (and a spare set), but I bought an extra set of leather gloves. And to top it off I'm now adding rabbit's fur to the palm of the gloves, somthing I'd planned for the far future.
Course now I have the opposite problem as before. Instead of putting things off for the far future, I now have to finish at least one of these gloves by sunday.
