Feb. 8th, 2001 09:47 am"We've got cable modem! They installed it yesterday, and it roars! I've been downloading songs off napster and ads off adcritic just because I *can*.
Friday night we went over to one of [A]'s friends place for their regualar wednesday get-together. [A] cooked up a great meal, and we watched 'Junkyard Wars' & 'Dark Angel'. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to leave my BACKPACK there. [A] has promised to get it back for me this weekend, but I'm going to be vaguely unsettled and twitchy until then. I have so much stuff that matters to me in that backpack, and I hate to not have it with me. Not to mention the cell phone, digital camera, and my $200 set of silver claws are in it (not that I'm worried about her friends stealing any of it, but that's still a lot of expensive stuff to misplace.
I'm going to be heading back to CT tonight I think. Spend a few days down there, hopefully get to spend a night with [C], whom I see so rarely (expecially since she's currently car-less). I also need to put the Crown Vic back up on Ebay and *pray* I can finally get rid of it."
