(no subject)

"Got the 'cat's eye' headlights redone yesterday, also put the chrome fangs on the front bumper. Installed teh new side mirror, put the bicycle bell on it, and transfered all the quotes. Damn but The Cat looks good. Of course the old hood on her looks really bad now. [A] also finished transcribing all of the old hood into a couple text files so I can easily transfer them to the new hood once it's finished. Oh, and I sanded down and repainted the hood yesterday as well. I'll see tomorrow how it looks.
Today I'm at my mom's place (actually came down last night). I'm picking up a bunch of stuff we'll need for the drive to Houston (tents, sleeping bags, duffle bag), making some tapes, and stashing the old fender/bumper/side mirror here.
Today we're heading up to family in RI for Easter, while I'm up there I'm going to try and sneak away to see my friends at freeloop and pick up the promotional fliers for Rhode Rally 2001, whcih we're taking to Houston in hopes of getting people from there to come up for Rhode Rally."

Things That Rock...

...my sister offering to buy the Target gift card off of me since she shops there all the time and will have no trouble spending it.
...getting really cool Convergence and Rhode Rally fliers from my Freeloop Friends.
...being given a free hub & network card by my computer geek cousin.
...being given loan of a 16MEG flashcard for my digital camera & good film camera (plus being given three rolls of film for same) by my sister so I can take lots of pictures on the trip.
...making three new 90min tapes for the trip.
...having my mom give me money for the Houston trip as an Easter present.

It's been a good day.
