Cadillacs and t-shirts

"So [C] and I picked up her new Cadillac yesterday (a '72 Sedan DeVille for those interested). Through a rather convoluted series of errands we ended up at and in a car show at a local diner.
[C] was having lots of fun letting people know that she'd owned the car for all of 8 hours at that point.
Lots of people though saw a guy and a girl with a classic car and assumed it was mine. So I'm in the procass of making myself a t-shirt that should help clarify this in the future.
