It started at 8am Friday waking up for work. I worked from 9-5 friday, deposited my paycheck(discovering alongthe way that my bank's computers are smoking some serious lime flavored crack) and picked up last minute stuff at home. Then I drove to Vassar for RHPS.
Did stuff before Rocky at Vassar that I now can't recall. Though one of them was being sent out on a booze run.
Yeah, the guy who isn't from there, and doesn't drink went booze shopping for ppl. I ended up having to go across the Hudson River to another county to find open liquor stores. One of the ppl was having me buy her strawberry wine coolers on top of it *shudder* Those just sound nasty.
Then headed over to the theatre for Rocky. Loaned the Squirt gun from hell to Hedgehog for her role as the Enforcer.
Rocky was a blast, after it ended around 2:30am we went tot he diner and had food, then wandered back to campus. Other stuff happened that I can't exactly recall, but I think I hung out in the person who played Frank's room for a while. Then I and THG wandered back to her room and crashed around 4am.
I woke up at 11am and could not go back to sleep. So I got up, changed out of the 'no sex boxers' and headed out to run some errands.
I hit the army navy store in Poughkeepsie and found the perfect set of boots. Tall, all black leather, lug sole, reenfourced toe and heel, and zippered side so I don't have to untie them to get them off. Ands they were $40 cheaper than the decidedly sub-optimal ones I almost bought in Amhearst. ALso got a new boot knife to go with them.
Also hit a junkyard, but they weren't a pick-yer-part so I exited w/o anything. Went back to campus and managed to organize a trip to the dead mall for the flea market there. Had tons of fun there, all I bought was another toy car for The Cat's dashboard. I did loan Hedgehog $15 for a set of four sliver-plated champagne flutes (which she proceeded to leave in The Cat).
Back to campus, I stole a quick nap then drove to Albany (Albany! Albany! ALBANY!) to pick up a complete stranger who is a friend of one of the vassarites. Got back just in time for Rocky. [C] was up forthat Rocky and I had a blast once again.
After the show we went to the diner again. After the diner I hung around for prehaps an hour and headed back towards CT. About two exits down I-84 I pulled off and slept for 2 hours in a parking lot. Drove straight to work from there and ended up a hour early, so I napped for another hour out behind the store.
Worked a 6.5 hour shift at work, came home wanting nothing but to pass out for a week. Instead I had a shower and had sushi which made me willing to persist in existing. Then headed out to a games party in CT. Was at the games aprt from 6-9:45pm. It was nice and I got to see some of the CT Poly ppl that I haven't managed to encounter in ages. Afterwards I went back with [C] to her place and we crashed out.
Next morning I headed off to work again and managed to not kill anyone dispite the fact I tried for an hour and a half to go to lunch before I was able to escape.
Today I picked up a new 3D video card for Minerva (the desktop comp) and a copy of Motor City Online A game I have been waiting for for a year. The card install went fine but the MCO servers are down. *grump*
