"The Cat decided to not start in the bank parking lot on the way home from work today. I think it's one of the battery clamps being too worn out to clamp tightly enough, but it was dark and freezing cold and windy as hell and after fighting iwth it and having the wind blow the hood down nearly on my head several times I said fuck it and walked th couple blocks home. Of course I was wearing adequate clothing for a drive home not a walk home, plus i was walking into the freezing wind. It's ten minutes since I got home and feeling has still not fully returned to my fingers.
[C] was supposed to come by at 5pm, and of course I didn't get home til 6:10pm, so I don't know if she's been and gone, or if she hasn't been by yet. ANd if she does come by she won't see The Cat in the driveway and will prolly asume I'm not here yet.
I can't believe she refused to start there. She couldn't do it at work, where there are ppl who could have helped me and an auto parts place across the street, and she couldn't do it at home where I could repair it at my leasuire. No she fuckign well did it in the place where it would be mazimum hassle and no warm places nearby and no auto parts store and not only noone to help me but the yuppie fucks going to the bank and supermarket there giving me dirty looks for working on my weirdo car in the same parkinglot they're parking their bimmers and SUVs in."
