Weekend update

"Well The Cat didn't make it into the garage today as my ride back from the garage has to work late. She'l go in tomorrow after classes.
The kitty is back at my mom's place and is apparently ok. No broken bones but a soft cast on one paw, and his uneven eyes (one pupil is currently larger than the other) is going to take a while to go back to normal. Overall pretty damn lucky for having been hit by a car.
I also remembered one thing I had forgotten from my last post. I got a haircut on Sat. In fact I got a lot of them cut. Now that my head's been re-buzzed we're going to be dying a green stripe i it the next time [C] and I get together."

"This is not by any stretch of the imagination a complete list. In fact I will likely be going back and adding to this from time to time {it's going in my memories}. None of these nor any combination are to be considered a defining characteristic of me. Which one is most important and the most vital aspect of me can vary up to several times a day. This is just an attempt to list some of the things that make me well, me. So without futher ado, I am...

• Polyamorous: (short version if you don't know. it means 'loving-many', aka responsible non-monogamy) I have been such for as long as I've been dating, it always just felt right to me. I'm not always good at it, and I do get jelous and obsessive and neruotic. But when it does work out the payoff is well worth it.
  
  
• Goth: But I'm mostly in it for the clothes. I'm not much for the music, and I like going to the club but don't feel I have to, and I can't managed to act that mopey all the time. I do like some aspects of the culture, and the people in it.
  
  
• Car-guy: I love cars, in just about every form. I love driving them, fixing them, modifying them, owning them, talking about them, you name it I'm likely into it. Believe it or not I find getting all greasy and grimy and bashing my knuckles replacing some part to be a fun way to spend an afternoon. 'Truck' was one of my first words, and if you get me started talking about any aspect of cars you'll be hard pressed to get me to shut up.
  
  
• ArtCar Artist: it's about hte only thing I do which I would tag myself as being an 'artist'. I love decorating and modifying cars in decidely non-standard ways. And I love looking at other cars this has been done to, and hanging out with the artist who have created them.
  
  
• Shy: no, really. I just show it in decidely non-standard ways. Chief among them is to try and act as exciting, interesting and self-confident as possible in hopes that people will decide they like me and not tell me to go away. I'm downright neurotic when it comes to whether or not I'm wanted, or if I'm someone ppl will actually want to hang out with.
  
  
• Downright silly: Good luck trying to get me to taky anything too seriously. I tend to try and find the humor in everything. I'm constantly thinking up and often spouting off with some dumb joke, bad pun, silly quote, or who knows what else.
  
  
• Snuggle slut: I love physical contact. Hugs, snuggles, scritches, cuddling, backrubs, etc. I live on this stuff. I don't deal well with going without it for any length of time, fortunately most of the social groups I travel in are also full of simmilar ppl. Now if I could just find more of them here at SCSU...
  
  
• Reader: (added 3-12 12:25pm) I love to read, mostly SF, but a little of just about everything. It's rare to find me without a book. I read whenever I get a free moment or two. The one thing that takes up the largest space of my worldy posessions is my books, sadly I have not bee able to fully unpack the boxes of them since around '98.
  
  
• Straight: (added 3-14 10pm) By basicly every definition of gender orientation I've come across I am straight. I've only been attracted to and invovled with women. I am sort of idily curious about what it would be like to be with a guy, but not having found one I'm attracted to I haven't bothered to pursue it.
  
  
• SF/fandom geek: (added 3-14 10pm) I love SF (not really into fantasy at all) and love reading it. I'm a big fan of Robert Heinlein, Spider Robinson, Louis McMaster Bujold, among others. I also like fandom and a lot of the people in it.

I'll be adding bits to this for a while, also at some point I'll be writing the flipside, the things I'm not. Right now though what I am is someone who should have gone to sleep at least an hour ago."
