Mar. 24th, 2002 05:47 pm"Well I'm back at mom's I've been here since Friday. Overall I've been feeling better and having a good time. As long as my mom's not actually around.
The Cat front motor mount was bad (I installed it wrong last summer) so that had to be replaced, and I had to fix the coolant leak caused by the motor moving too much (due to bad mount). I also went and replaced the upper radiator hose as I realized it is prolly still the original one from 1991!
I spent both Fri & Sat evenings at the Nexus, and spent both nights with DarkLepus. Quite enjoyable, even if it meant I'm seriously short on sleep.
So overall I'm not really depressed or feeling bad like I was before. This is a good thing. However my mother is driving me up the f**king wall. She's been making nasty comments and expecting me to know stuff she doesn't tell me about then getting mad because I didn't know. For ghods sake her comment on the green stripe in my hair was 'Don't come back here with green hair again.' I'm 23 years old, and she's trying to give me orders regarding how I can wear my hair? Yeah right.
I am going to have to figure out a plan that will allow me to not have to move back in here come the end of the school year. If I had to move back here I'd go nuts in very short order.
Dinner get-together tonight (which is supposed to be for me, but every time I try and have it go the way I want mom acts all annoyed and put-upon). After that maybe I'll get togehter with [C], or if she's no up for it after her road trip weekend perhaps I'll head up to Vassar. If I don't go up tonight, I'm definitely heading up tomorrow. I want to get to see Bird, and TFHO, and THG and everyone else there that I never get to see anymore.
