Jan. 12th, 2003 12:45 pm"Well I had a fun last two days. Friday [C] and I drove up for Manray. Amusingly enough, last year The Cat blew her transmission the week before Fetish FLea, so I had to ride up with [C], this year her car was having mechanical issues so she had to ride up with me.
We met up with a friend and she joined us for ManRay, had a good time at the club hanging out and such, but left earlier than expected as [C] and I were exhausted. Crashed on a our friends floor that night.
The next morning we dragged ourselves out of bed and headed out. We had breakfast with our friend then [C] and I headed over to pick up DragonGirl and go to the flea.
The Fetish Flea was fun. Lots of stuff to look at and ppl to watch. It was also nice being in an environment where DragonGirl felt comfortable with expressing affection in public (she is normally a very reserved person regarding that in public). DragonGirl ended up ordering a custom corset (in a lovely satin black-on-black dragon patern) . I bought a cat ring, a barbed-wired necklace (made of leather cording not metal), and bought DragonGirl a pretty silver necklace.
We were invited to join a horde of ppl for dinner in chinatown, then after that we followed some of the horde back to one person's place where we hung out until around midnight. Then I drove DragonGirl home and dragged myself back to CT, arriving around 2:30am.
Awoke around 11:30am, and once i go shower I've got a few errands I want ot run before gaming.
It was a fun weekend, and I continue to be amused at the social-implosion that happens around me asI discover that everyone I know seems to know everyone else. I also got DragonGirl excited about Arisia next weekend, so hopefully she and her SO will be able to make it to that."
