Concert tonight.

"I'm heading off to an Ani Difranco concert tonight. I'm going with, of all people, my sister. She was the only person who replied that was enthisuastic about a free ticket to said concert.
I haven't seen Ani in concert since '97, this should be enjoyable."

So much shouting, so much laughter!

"Oh man! I am still riding high on the Ani adreniline high.
I haven't seen her in concert in way to long. The power, the lyrics, the guitar playing, the silly jokes and comments that come out mid-song.
And I read our tickets wrong, rather than being way in the back we were in the sixth freaking row! It was incredible, unlike every other time when ani was a faint person shaped thing on the horizon she was so close I could catch every facial expression and every smile and quirk of the lip. It was wild to be able to finally clear up some of the lyrics I've never been sure of by lip-reading Ani singing them.

Whee... at this moment, life is good."


P.S. and I admit to indulging in the guilty pleasure of oogling all the cute babydykes there.:)
