"One thing that I really like the idea of, and sort of wish for from any place I live is that I have friends dropping by.
I like the idea of friends just showing up and hanging out. Like today I'm going to work on The Cat and I'd love it if someone stopped by and hung out so I'd have someone to chat with while I did hte work on her.
I seem however to not have that happen much in my life. For whatever reason I seem to wind up not having people come visit me much, and almost never having spontaneous visits.
*shrug*
Ah well, it'll still be a food day, regardless of whether I end up with company or not."

"So I was talking about wanting ppl to hang out with while wokring on The Cat. After finishing two of the projects on her I figured I'd call myt cousin and have him take a look and see if he could help me fix something else. He told me to stop by the garage where he works on his car so I headed over. I ended up spending four hours there working on The Cat and hanging out with my cousin and some of the othder guys there, who I know from my high school years.
So I got company of a sort, and I also got a major problem with The Cat fixed. This cost me basicly nothing but time, and having it fixed the way a garage suggestd would have cost me around $250, so I am happy. And I discovered some other parts don't need replacing which will save me another $66, which makes me even happier.

Now I need to clean the bathroom and desperately need to shower. After that I may go hang out with local friends"
