Further apartment hunting...
Aug. 4th, 2003 11:55 pm"So something happened the other day that made me actually enthusiastic about apartment hunting. My friend Velvet told me to keep an eye out for a nice 2-bedroom apartment with a garage, as he is tired of a third floor walkup that gets overly hot in the summer.
This means I'd be rooming with a very cool friend whom I think I could share space with and stay sane. And it means together we can find something way better than either of us could afford alone.
Today we looked at two places.
( The first was a 2-bedroom house w/1-car garage )
*shrug* It was ok, I could live there, but wasn't inspired or amazed.
( Then we looked at a 2-br first floor apartment w/1-car garage )
We want this place so badly, we filled out applications right there, and told the guy how much we wanted the place. Now we just have to wait to hear from him and try to resist our urge to call him up every 5 minutes to ask if he's decided yet.
With some luck we won't have to do anymore looking."
