write on!

"I just bought a pile of cheap blank CDs. The theory is that I can write stuff on my computer, burn it to CD and upload it here.
So in theory I'll be able to write the LJ posts that occur to me when they occur and not forget them before I happen to get to mom's place to use the computer. Also I'm hoping to do some updating of blert.net and upload that as well.

Of course I come up with this great idea just as my plans for the weekend are getting busier and busier so who knows if or how this will pan out."

"So I picked up my collar yesterday. It's pretty, and matches my cuffs I am quite pleased with the look and the construction. Paul also changed the little thingies that hold the excess strap to a smaller vesion so the strap stops slipping out as easily, and replaced a gromit that had started rusting for some reason. I cannot reccommend Primitive Leather enough for quality work and attention to detail.

Went to Haven for the first time in months and just my luck it was 'back to school' night, so nearly half the girls there were dressed in catholic schoolgirl outfits. That is a style of dress I find particularly unpleasant[1]. Hung around club for a bit, but was feeling anti-social and was tired of waiting for the person I needed to deliver the car bumper to[3], so I let around 11:15 and drove back to the cottage (1.5hr drive). Was exhausted and stopped at a quiky-mart. Bought a Aian-Plum Green Tea, which I was glad to find as I thought they had stopped making them. Got back on the road and discovered that this one dated from way back when they did make them and was very expired. Ick."


[1] I intensely dislike any style of dress, mannerism, etc. in which the person is attempting to appear to be a child, or otherwise underage. As a sweetie once put it 'I prefer to have sex with adults, thank you.'
