Fried Green Wombats
Oct. 15th, 2003 08:16 pm"Once again with nothing much I feel like posting. I guess I'll fill thisa with random bits.
- I did some work on my wings a few weeks ago but they have languished since then, I have not had the insperation to start working on the sewing part of them.
- I really miss having a driveway where I'm living that makes working on cars much eaiser, no planning to get to somewhere involved.
- I hit a curb with The Cat the other day, bent a rim. more details will shortly be posted to
improbable_cars.
- Lately I have been sucking even more than usual at keeping up with cleanign at the cottage. This is usually an indicator that I'm depressed.
- my sister is back from Hawaii visiting this week. it was nice to see her for the first time since the start of the summer. I like my sister, and miss her when she's off on her little island.
- Party at Z & Fay's place this weekend, looking forward to it, they throw good parties.
- Am also looking forward to FurFright in CT and Rocky at Vassar.
- *sigh* I am a big depressed to realize I have turned a corner with work. It is no longer cool and neat and interesting. It is turning into a bit of a grind. I think the fact I now have to commute at least 45min from the cottage and the fact work is slow so there is sometimes a hassle finding me work is adding to this. The new forms suck too. Why is is that a company who's only focus is to assemble & repair stuff constantly makes life harder for the assemblers & repairers while making it easier for ppl elsewhere in the co. (like payroll)? Without us assemblers there would be no money coming in and therefore no company. Upper management needs to take a logic course, or (preferably) I should get to slap them upside the head and thell them they are being stupid.
- along these lines I realized the ~500+ miles I am driving every week for work is urning me out on driving enough that I no longer want to drive anywhere, and thus don't go of places to visit far-off friends."
