"Missed work today because the brakes on the Nova needed work. Annoying but not a huge deal, and fairly cheap to 'fix'[1]. Mom stopped by in the middle of it while the car was up on jackstands with all four wheels off. She was clearly trying hard ot find nice things to say about my ancient Nova. She also dropped off the curtains she had found on sale. I now have actual curtains in my room instead of just blankets tacked over the windows. Yay for it feeling more like a real room. Now I just need tiebacks so I can actually open the curtains easily.
Tomorrow, work, and hopefully settig hte timing on the Nova. Also possible other brake stuff.
Saturday, wedding in Boston. I'd like ot take the Nova, as that would give [C] a chance to see it, but as it is still not running or braking terribly well and I'm riding up with Fey and picking another friend up along the way the Nova may be passed over in favor of Fey's Honda."
