easiest money ever...

"Ok, this continues to amuse me. The AlleyCat and I have these Schwinn cruiser bikes we got a few months back. Really nice swoopy frames and all around pretty, and they cost us under $30 each. My only complaint is that they had all black tires and no fenders.
Well friday I found, in the back of the Target I was working at, two ladies cruiser bikes with 5-spd gears, hand brakes, chrome fenders, and whitewall tires. they were last years model, and had been marked down to $17.50 each. So of course I bought them.
Brought them to them home, swapped the tires onto our bikes and removed the fenders. Then I chained the two new bikes to the front railing with a 'for sale' sign on them. I just sold the second one about an hour ago, for $40 each. So I essentially just turned a $45 profit on the two bikes and got free whitewall tires and chrome fenders.
And our bikes look good with the fenders and tires. So I am quite gleeful.

And the energy kicks in...

"So today I have been sorta up and down all day, more toward the 'down' in a 'tired and lonely' sorta way. I passed out for about 3 hours thisevening and threfore ended up not making it to a friend's cottage today. However in hte last two hours I Have sold the second bike, had ice cream, chatted on the phone with a friend and both emailed and gotten a response from an interesting person on a personals site.
Right now I am playing celtic rock as loud as I feel I cna get away with w/o pissing off the neighbors and bopping along in my chair, drumming my hands on the desk.
So it appears my mood has taken a distinct upswing." :)
