"Scar's engine has developed some nasty noises, and is running on only 4-5 of 6 cylinders. I'm going to try and get the new engine in as fast as possible, but that will be at least another week or two, at best. I have other transportation, but it is decidely non-optimal.
This is annoying, and if the issue persists may alter my plans for two weekends from now in Boston. I *really* hope not, but we shall see."

"So I'm updating my resume, in dread of job hunting. And I have come up with a question.

What is the proper resume-y thing to do when the person you worked under somewhere has left that company. Do you simply list the place's phone # and let them sort out who can now confirm your employment, do you do that? Do you just list the former boss and let them figure out their not around anymore?

Annoyingly enough, my bosses at my last two jobs before this one appear to have both moved out of state. Which is doubly annoying becuase they were also buisness references. Which means I have no current buisness references. Anyone feel like bing a personal reference? (yes I'm aware those are much less well-respected on an application)

Resumes are the worst part of whoring and pimping combined. Feh."
