  "I have been getting more and more annoyed with my hands-free cell phone earbud thingy since CT law made it required to us same while in a car. After discovering that the mic &speaker in my cell phone are good enough that on speakerphone both the driver & passenger can be part of the conversation I got an idea. There is now fuzzy velcro on the back of my cell phone, and a corrisponding piece of velcro on the steering wheel of the Subbie. Now I stick the phone there, it is a million times easier than fishing for the hands-free thingy and it meets the requirements of the law. Go me.

  In completely unrelated news, having a drill bit break off while drilling, and having the drill thus slip causing the jagged end of the bit to drill into the meaty part of one's hand below the thumb sucks. The fact a band-aid won't stay on that spot on one's hand is just adding insult to injury at that point.
