I'm now filled with a sense of impending dread. I am also resisting the urge to respond to the company-wide email asking if I got my card with a list of the grammatical errors in it.

Update: I didn't even get this typed up when the following showed up in my inbox from the head of my department (my boss's boss):

So what on earth is that colored piece of paper mean...........inquiring minds want to know......well........ you'll just have to wait to find out....now no horse trading allowed, whatever color you got you have to keep! This is all being done office wide in the name of FUN!!

"Christianity is not a fucking oppressed religion in america! You run the whole fucking country and just about everyone in a position of power is a member of your religion! Your winter holiday is shoved down our throats for three months out of every year! Compared to the attention paid to your religious holidays every other religion barely registers as a blip on the radar!

So if people/stores/offices/whatever want to say 'happy holidays' or 'seasons greetings' as some sort of token attempt at being more diverse, just fucking SHUT UP about it!
