IN no particular order
Dec. 19th, 2005 09:41 amCurrent sources of stress/depression:
Xmas shopping (fairly minor, need to pick up 3 more gifts only 1 of which should be difficult)
general stress about seeing family for holidays & always feeling wildly out-of-place with them
help PG & her SO move to their new apartment
try to fit in time with sweeties around all the other crap going on
dealing (poorly) with the fact it is dark when I get out of work every day and the associate not wanting ot do anything that goes along with that
generic Pixel Feel's Lonely and Disconnected from the World(tm) depression
Current good things in my life:
"Not that making a list can actually sway me one way or the other. But it does help to get it all out. All things considered though, I'd love it if the entire world would just *stop* for a week so I could take a vacation."
- moving
- sub-stresses:
- get everything packed up
- get basement cleaned out, inc packing what I'm taking and tossing what I'm not
- get Emily's brakes re-assembled to the point where I can drive her across town
- figuring out how to co-ordinate the big-furniture moving day so the most useful # of hands are available
- get all utilities swapped over
- clean current apt
- not kill current landlord
- get everything packed up
Current good things in my life:
- that PG loves me and I love her
- my friendship with Fey and the fact she makes a wonderfully low-stress/hassle/etc. person to share living space with
- that I'm back with the Amberfiend
- My pretty pretty new chairs
- the fact that I have, to my continued surprise, lots of friends and people who like me
- that the Subbie continues to chug along and just *work* despite my tendency to ignore her maintenance needs, so at least I don't have to stress about transportation
- that I have a great new apartment and in about a month I can tell my current landlord to go fuck himself with an icicle
