"Went yesterday to get new glasses. PG and I had gone out the other week and scoped out diffferent frames we liked, today I was goign to get any eye exam and get the new glasses.
Except the frames that had looked like a really neat copper color then just looked like a metalic brown yesterday. And the really nicely shaped gunmetal ones on closer inspection turned out to be enough wider than my current frames that the lenses would have ended up looking an inch thick at the sides.

So I looked at all the other frames. Found some metal ones in semi-gloss black that I liked the look of, but the earpieces didn't have much of a 'hook' shape too them and I worried that they would fall off in the middle of working on a car or some other disasterous time.

So after poking aroudn the shop for a while I went home without getting anything and less idea of what to get than when I went in.

Feh. Annoying. The styles that I like and/or seem to work on my face aren't currently 'in style' which leaves me kinda SOL."
