Weekend, short form

Left work, Drove Emily to Poly Diner Meet in Western MA. Hung out at diner w/group, hung out a someone's house w/group. Drove PG home. Got home at 2am.
Sat:
Headed out at 10am in the rain to get bits for drivetrain swap in Emily. Hit two junkyards, found stuff at 2nd one and removed it in the pouring rain. Came home, showered & napped for an hour. Drove Emily to Western MA to see Cars w/ PG & her kids. Dropped them off and stopped for gas before heading home. Emily died at gas station. Called AAA & PG came to wait for tow truck with me. 2.5 hours, being lied to by AAA, having AAA claim I was lying to them & getting handed off to offices all over the freaking country occur before a tow truck shows up. Get Emily towed home. Fiddle with her in driveway and she starts right up. Of course. get to sleep around 2am again.
Sun:
Get up and get set to head up to Western MA (again, yes) for alt.newengland (aka 'freaks in the park'). Emily won't start, decide to ignore it and take Roo instead. Have fun day in park w/various ppl. Amberfirend takes bus out there and I meet her at bus. As things are winding down I get a call from Fey (who had left the park earlier) that her car was broken down. Go out to find her and her van is very broken. Call AAA (again). Get dicked around by AAA again, get van towed. Finally get home and chill out with Fey & the Amberfiend.
Today:
Had taken off day from work, turned out to be a really good thing as I needed it to recover. Had a leisurely morning w/ the Amberfiend. Fixed Emily (loose wire), determined van was FUCKED. Eventually drove Amberfiend to bus. Came home and fiddled with bits for Emily's drivetrain swap. Now trying to relax, and about to get food.
What a freaking weekend.
