Had a nice weekend. PG came down Friday evening, we and Fey went to go see 'Clerks 2', which was a pretty good romantic comedy wrapped in a thick blanket of Kevin Smith wrongness. The wrong in that movie makes the quantity of 'fucks' in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back seem almost quaint. I was also amused that we completely randomly sat in front of a friend of mine at the theater.
PG stayed through til Sat afternoon, when she and Fey headed out for their gaming session. I tried to go to a car show, but didn't realize the shop hosting it had moved sicne last I was by there so I missed it. Watched some Bullshit and generally hung aroudn the apartment til fey & PG got back from gaming, then the three of us hung out until PG left for home around midnight.
Sunday PG and I decided to go to another car show in Boston. So I drove up and picked her up, then we headed out to Lars Anderson Auto Museum for their hot rod show. Turns out the show was canceled due to threat of rain, but we wandered the museum instead and looked at their very, very pretty antique cars.
After a brief lunch we met up with the Amberfiend and the three of us hung out for a while, getting bubble tea nad doing some skirt shopping. Eventually we left to head home, had some very good relationship discussions on the way home (dude, PG and I have been dating for almost exactly two years now, how weird is that?). I dropped her off and headed home, then hung out online until way too late.
Dispite failing my saving throw vs. car show twice, it was a pretty nice weekend and it was nice to have that sort of low stress/low plans weekend for a change.
