OH for gods sake!
Dec. 7th, 2006 09:19 amYup, new glasses are officially wrong. Tried wearing them to work and at work today, and started getting low grade pain in my eyes and head in the under 1.5 hours I have been awake today.
Looking back and forth between the screen and keyboard was less than fun. And I realized once I switched back to my old pair (I had brought them just in case) why. With the new pair I was having to put effort and concentration into seeing clearly. If I relaxed my eyes everything went *really* blurry as opposed to the tiny bit blurry it does when I do the same in my old glasses.
So basically, something, and i don't know what, is wrong with the new pair such that my eyes are constantly working to compensate for it which was giving me eyestrain and a creeping headache.
God damn, what the hell is going on? This is now the THIRD pair of wrong glasses in as many attempts. And each time it has been some different sort of wrong too. I'm tempted at this point to go back to the eye doctor and start over again from scratch. Possibly even see a completely different eye doctor and see if the prescriptions match up or not.
*sigh*
It would be nice if I could just manage to get something done and taken care of. But lately it seems like any time I try either it turns into a major hassle or two new issues crop up. And I really don't have the mental energy to deal with all this.
