Top Gear Wednesday

Once again, it's time for Top Gear!

Episode 5: The Top Gear blokes test tractors, and try to plant a field to grow their own biofuel.
Episode 6: They build their own stretch limos. Also The Doctor's companion in a reasonably priced car.

When? Wednesday the 7th. Everyone is welcome around 6pm, first episode starts around 6:30-7pm.

Where? Our apartment in Hartford.

Who? Anyone willing to make the trek over.

FYI: This will be the last Top Gear night until the new season starts in the summer. But if people are interested we can start doing a Car Chase/Bad Car Movie Night instead.

This article has me half wanting to scream and half laughing my ass off. I need to point ou the best lines.

Another purportedly offended viewer was concerned that the halftime show would have an unfortunate lasting effect on his son, who "hoped to be a quarterback and now he will turn out gay...Thanks CBS for turning my son GAY."

Maybe instead he can be a tight end? Or a wide receiver?

The Snickers commercial--in which two mechanics accidentally kiss as they jointly eat a candy bar--repulsed some football fans, one of whom wrote of feeling "violated" by the ad. "God knows, I didn't turn on the superbowl expecting to be tricked into watching gay sex!"

Ok... If he thinks kissing = sex, I have great sympathy for likely unsatisfied wife.
