A fun weekend, and the resulting pennance

Friday I was feeling much better, after having felt sick for most of the week. So I stick to my original weekend plans. After work I went up to the Western MA Poly diner meetup for an hour or so, then headed out to Boston to spend the weekend visiting my new sweetie. We hit Henry's junkyard early Sunday morning, got one bit for her truck, and surveyed future acquisitions. I met up with the Amberfiend that afternoon to discuss some stuff. She, her partner and I went to two different parties on Saturday night. We caught brunch at Johnny D's on Sunday. And spent much of the time between all of this hanging out, snuggling, etc.

And now I'm paying for it. The cold that had diminished to the point where Sudafed had me feeling completely normal is back with a vengeance. And Sudafed ain't doing squat this time. I spent all of yesterday constantly blowing my nose in a desperate attempt to keep up with my dripping nose. Today my nose isn't running, instead my sinuses are stuffed completely solid and I feel like I'm thinking through tapioca.

But it was worth it. :)
