Excerpted from this blog post:

The first time I was in Sweden, one of my colleagues picked me up at the hotel every morning. It was September, bit cold and snowy. We would arrive early at the company and he would park far away from the entrance (2000 employees drive their car to work). The first day, I didn't say anything, either the second or third. One morning I asked, "Do you have a fixed parking space? I've noticed we park far from the entrance even when there are no other cars in the lot." To which he replied, "Since we're here early we'll have time to walk, and whoever gets in late will be late and need a place closer to the door. Don't you think?" Imagine my face.

Food for thought.

Discovered after running out to car after work in torrential downpour that I'd left the front windows slightly open on car, so seats were soaked. Fun.

Was supposed to help a friend with his van, but that is now unlikely with aforementioned downpours. Whee.

Have no enthusiasm for doing comic, despite having missed 3 updates so far. Bleh.

Should clean apartment for Poly Social on Friday, but have gotten all of 4 RSVPs thus far. Feh.

This is mostly for Velvet, since his email isn't working.

These pictures are from the owner of the '62 Bug I'm interested in.

I'd appreciate if my car-savvy friends could look them over and see if they spot any obvious problems, or anything I should pay special attention to when I go look at the car in person this weekend.
