So much pretty bits....
Jan. 23rd, 2008 02:25 pmI have been browsing the hardware section of Van Dykes Restorers, and I am smitten. Given half a chance I'd spend a truly obscene amount of money here.
For instance, the locks on the Trunk Hasps , Hinges and Straps page are to die for. I don't know what I'd lock with something like this, but I'd find something.
And I want a Victorian Twist Door Bell for our front door. You turn the key on the outside of the door, and it rings the bell on the inside. Glorious!
Auigh! They have Copper sheets in a variety of natural tarnishings, agings, distressings, etc.. Oh ghods what I could make with those...
If you need me I'll be off whimpering in the corner and hiding my debit card.
