Autocrossing

I just heard back from the local CART Autocrossing group. The gentleman I spoke with said that both Box & Emily would be acceptable vehicles to run (assuming they pass safety inspection).

So two weeks from now on June 8th I'm planning on going autocrossing in Hartford with Velvet & my sweetie. We're all hoping to run, though that may depend on rules regarding drivers sharing cars.

If you're interested in joining us and running your car, let em know.

Things I need before then:

• Solid battery tiedown for the Comet (and make sure the xB has a factory one)
  
• Install new proportioning valve in Comet & bleed brakes.
  
• Make sure motor mounts are in good shape on Comet.
  
• Double check *everything* on the Comet so something vital doesn't come flying off.
  
• Make sure we all have acceptable helmets that fit.
  
  I'm hoping to acquire a camcorder before then, as the sight of me in a 1962 Mercury Comet trying to run an AutoX course needs to be documented for posterity.
