Car Chase Movie Night
Tomorrow is our every-other-Wednesday Movie night at the house. We watch Car Chase or (at least vaguely[1]) car-related movies. There is always food & sarcasm, there is often outright movie mockery.
This week is Death Race(the remake, we are still trying to track down a copy of the original). We expect a terrible movie with good production values and a lot of stuff blowing up.
Mad Scientists Union
Once a month a bunch of us get together to work on whatever random projects we happen to have. This Saturday's meeting(the 11th) the first meeting back at my place (it moved to Springfield for the winter).

blacstag is hoping to start in on converting a dead electric kiln into a new propane forge. auntiemame67 & I will be working on a set of leather & copper wings for her(assuming I can get the supplies in time), and I will be adding more modifications to my steampunk stilts costume.
A server move has fubared the mailing list link and I won't be able to fix it until tonight. So if you want to sign up go here.
[1] How vague? "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" was allowed because there is a scooter in it.
