Meal ideas?
Aug. 6th, 2009 12:44 pmSo for the last few months my SO has been making lunches for me (and now herself since she got a new job). The primary motive for this was to replace the frozen dinners I had been eating with something that doesn't contain several times my RDA of salt.
She makes up a big batch of something and I portion it out into individual containers and freeze them. This makes for an easy to snag
The problem is that she has been doing it long enough we've pretty much exhausted her ideas for meals.
So we are looking to all the cooks on here for some help. We need meals that are reasonably healthy (and are or can be made low in salt) that can be be made in a batch and do reasonably well being frozen and microwaved. Not-spicy and not dairy-intensive (some is ok, it as a major ingredient is less-so)
Ideas are great, recipes are *awesome*. Thanks in advance.
