Domain registration.
Sep. 10th, 2009 02:27 pmAnyone know of a good way to renew the blert.net domain?
I originally registered it through register.com, however somehow they seem to have associated it with some partner of theirs (poweryourname.com), who has associated my account with an email address I haven't used since about 2000, so I can't get my username/password info without calling them. And this mysterious re-assigning of my account (and register.com's unwillingness to help and summary dumping me off on the partner) has me pissed and looking for an alternative.
EDIT: called poweryourname.com, waited on hold for 10-15min, and finally got someone who answered the phone with "Register.com how can I help you?" Yeah, same company, different division and computer systems incapable of talking to each other. Got the info and got into the account, but want to move it anyway.
