Winter is definitely coming

...so I'm getting ready for it. We went to Cabela's yesterday (which is my new favorite place for hard-wearing clothing at decent prices) and I picked up a new winter coat and a pair of fleece lined jeans. I am already completely in love with the coat, and after wearing it for less than a half hour it feels broken in and like I've had it forever.

And this weekend I'm picking up my mom's old snowblower. With a tuneup it'll be a lot better way to clear the driveway than shoveling by hand, or the electric snowblower we have no which has a fondness for eating its own power cord.
