Life update

auntiemame67, though at the moment my bed is in pieces and I have drawers full of clothes but no dressers to put them in. I'm steadily moving everything over, but am in no huge hurry as my deadline for being out of the other place is comfortable far off.
Plan is to get my house stuff out and to the cottage in the next week or two, and follow on the heels of that with getting my basement/garage stuff over to the cottage.
As far as the apartment goes, my bedroom is "done", but the kitchen is still in progress. It is being worked on as fast as possible right now, but the cold & wet weather is delaying the floor by making the glue set in ~8 hours instead of 1-2. Should still be functionally done by the end of the week.
Job:
Dream job fell through for the immediate future. He thinks I would be awesome as an employee, but needs someone with more skills for the right now work. He talked about hiring me down the line, and I suggested if he needed part time work with smaller jobs or cleaning or whatever to give me a call. Hopefully I can get my foot in the door that way. Am also planning to take a welding class in the next few weeks to make me more appealing as well. Back to the job hunt though as I can't put all my eggs in one basket, even one as spiffy as this.

Had someone really interested, but it fell through at the last moment. So still up for sale, am probably going to call the guy who gave me a lowball offer and say "If you still want it come get it." It is getting to the point of being worth taking a bigger loss just to have it gone and out of my hair.
