The Great Internet Photo Scaevenger Hunt
Apr. 12th, 2001 02:11 pmThe idea being that people email in suggestions for things to go out and take pictures of. And we go out and try and find it, then post the pic on the website.
Except before I can start working on the page, I'm going to need suggestions for things to be on the initial list.
The idea is to give an item that is interesting enough to be worth finding, hard enough to find that there is a challenge involved, but not so hard as to be inpossible. 'A blue car' is too general 'a blue car with one door of another color' is good, 'a blue pontiac with one red door' is impossible.
Specific landmarks are out, because they would mean only going to that specific place, taking the picture, then leaving. There is no exploring or adventure involved in that. So 'The World Trade Center' is no good, but 'two identical buildings right next to each other' is great.
Remember that I'm in New England so keep that in mind when you suggest things.
Come on, lets hear some suggestions! Be Creative! Be Wild!
