Worked 8-12 at Pep Boys today. Ran home for lunch & change of clothes. As worked at Toys R Us from 1-6.
Got to spend more quality time with the leaf blower at Pep Boys (clearing the front driveway/sidewalk this time). Though they actually let me work on cars today. I was afraid I'd become the default shop cleaner and never actually get near the cars except when I had to clean around them.
Was stiff and sore again when I left Pep, popped some more ibuprophen and planned to suffer through my shift at T'R'U. After filling out paperwork, and a breif tour of the store, they stuck me in the bike assembly area and told me to go to it. So from 2-6 I was actually assembling bikes. ONly got about 5 done, but that's not bad for not having done any work on bikes in at least 7 years. And I think all the moving and bending and such of working on the bikes actually helped stretch out some of the sore spots >I felt better after leaving T'R'U then when I started my shift.
I'm heading off to sleep soon, then [C] some friends of her's from work, and i are going to Waterfire in Providence tonight. I haven't been since some time last year, so it should definitely be fun."

"[...] Gunfoam goes "BLAM." The explosive rounds also go "BLAM," but at point blank range it's all pretty much one noise. And depending on where you are standing, you won't get to hear it at all. Or maybe you'll just get the "BL" part, and stop wondering what's happened by the time the "AM" reaches you."

The comic Schlock Mercenary is great. And having the author explain the science of his strips is even more fun. Why? Because they include things like the above quote.
