Ah the joy that is the rumor mill ...fucking pain in the ass.

"So the vassar NSO community has one of the most active and vicious rumor mill that it has ever been my misfortune to get involved in.
Now I gossip, in fact I freely admit that I enjoy gossiping. However I do not spread malicious gossip. I would never spread a piece of gossip that I wasn't willing to talk about to the person/persons it involves.
Right now there is someone in that group that is spreading IMO rather malicious and false gossip about multiple ppl, and who they are supposedly sleeping with. This would only be somewhat of an annoyance where it not for the fact that this person has publicly stated how much she hates the rumor mill there.
Just a wee bit hypocritical."

Is the lawn ornament gone?

"Well feh.
So some guy left a note saying he was interested in the Crown Vic. So I went out to start it up and run it for a bit before calling him, and it won't stay running. I think it's just needs some drygas or to have the tank drained & flushed. But I'm tired of the car and don't want to deal with repairs on a car I'm not driving just so I can try and sell it. So i suggested he come over and look at it anyway. Well he made me an offer on it and I accepted just to get rid of the thing.
He is supposed to come pay for and pick it up on Monday. If he comes through I will end up only $1050 in debt afterwards.
Feh. I was hopeing/praying that I could sell the crown vic and clear my debts. Oh well, at least it'll be out of my lifeand I can stop paying taxes on it."

Weekend update (part 2)

"So we went into the renn faire and was almost immediately set uppon by one of the 'Wyrd Sisters' singing troupe, who cracked jokes and chatted with us for a while. She was so entertaining that I made a mental note to catch their show later.
Now among the group I headed into the faire with was one of the new crop of freshmen at vassar. She's rather cute, with long hair dyed bright screaming red(like Crayola red, no attempt made to pretend it's anything even aproaching natural), and as I was to discover, quite an fun and entertaining person. Henchforth I shall refer to her as The Flame Haired One, or TFHO.
