A surprising compliment

"So my mom and I were discussing her new... boyfriend (I guess). And she was talking about telling him about me and my weirdness. And she told me what she tells people about me when they ask about her son.
(parapahrased)
'He's the sweetest, nicest, kindest, caring person around. He cares about his friends and family and helps people whenever he can. But he's a little...different.'
She then went on to say that she lets them take 'different' however they wish.
I thought that was the most entertaiing compliment I've every recieved. And it's nice to know my mom thinks so highly of me."
