"went to Nexus get together. Played lots of games (including two rounds of 'Give me the Brain'), hung out and chatted with ppl. I like having ppl to actually interact with here in New Haven.
DarkLepus is coming to visit tomorrow afternoon, which should be nice."

As an unrelated side note: If you can't be bothered to deal with my feelings regarding us, you then have no right to ask about and offer advice on every other aspect of my life. (this is directed at one person who just got an email also to simmilar effect, so if that wasn't you it doesn't refer to you)

Overheard gaming quote: If you two were in a fight, I'd bet on the duck.

"OK, so in my world you either
a) Are willing to try and discuss issues/problems/situations betwen us as they come up, and there is a possiblity for a deep/serious friendship.
OR
b)You ignore or are unwilling to discuss issues/problems/situations betwen us, and can have only a surface/no friendship between us.

I always thought this was a fairly simple self-explanitory way of living. As far as I can tell all of my close friends understand this concept (and most/all have a simmilar view of the world).
Apparently some people though think they can get some of both. They feel they can ignore issues and/or not discuss them, and then expect me to welcome their comments/criticisms of how I live my life openly, and expect me to happily answer all of their very personal questions.

Maybe it's me. Is my view of the world irrational? Is there some inherent flaw in trying to live my life that way that I am missing?"

overheard quote: (woman walks into Philosophy class 2 min before the end) "You look like you need more chalk" (dumps whole box of chalk onto blackboard tray, leaves)
