Help needed.
Jan. 31st, 2004 03:55 pm"Fey and I are in need of some ppl to help us move a chunk of our stuff into our new apartment in Hartford tomorrow (Sun) morning. We could also use some help with painting and other projects around the place that afternoon.
The moving would start around 9-10am, and consists of getting all my stuff out of a storage unit (they have elevators & dollies so this part is easy), and a few pieces out of Fey's current place. Packing it all in a U-Haul and then bringing it into our new (2nd story) apartment. We're just dumping it in one room for now so there isn't a lot of unpacking and such to be done.
The home-repair stuff would commence after the moving is done. We need to paint nearly every room in this apartment (it is currently just about all periwinkle blue). There will likely be some cleaning, some light fixtures need to be changed, and there is some other odds'n ends things. Plus if anyone gets adventurous they can help me strip the paint off the old doors & doorplates/doorknobs and restore the plates/knobs and refinish the doors.
We'll buy everyone who helps lunch and/or dinner, plus you get to see our giant new apartment. Reply to this, email me or call if you can and are willing to help.
