I'm covered in latex!

So yesterday and today they have had no work for me at work. Which sucks from a $$ standpoint (sucks a lot in fact), but it does mean that I have had a lot of time to work on our new apartment.
I've scrubbed, spackled, sanded, masked, painted, patched until I thought I was going nuts. Then I stopped to change a few light fixtures and did it some more. However a lot of progess has been made. Most of the rooms are ready for painting, and some I've even got a coat on the walls or trim, and I have done some work in just about every room we are repainting.

I'm now tired sore and a bit loopy on paint fumes and have decided to take a break. I may go back tonight or I may decide I've done enough for today and concentrate on packing up my stuff here.

This weekend we are hoping to get ppl to come over and have a painting party & help with getting all these rooms painted."

*sigh*

"So I called for my schedule for tomorrow. They ahve no work for me. This is going to be the third day in a row with no work. So with much annoyance and regret I am now officially job hunting.
Admittedly it is going to be a token effort at best until the whole apartment situation is more settled, but I am looking.

And damnit I hate job hunting."
