"So I am basicly moved into the new apartment in Hartford. I have everthing except the hideous dresser moved out of [C]'s place, and have moved all the stuff I can from mom's and the cottage. Now I just have to sort through about a half dozen 'random junk' boxes. Bloody hell.

I do not have net access there and will not until *at best* monday, but likely it will even be a bit longer than that. If you need to get in touch with me on a time-sensitive basis call my cell phone.

The apartment is about 80% repainted and looks amazing, so much better than the periwinkle horror it was. However we have discovered a lot of various issues and annoyances we need the landlord to deal with. I am going to try and get them over this weekend to discuss them (you know minor stuff like a hyper-inefficient furnace, fire hazard fridge plug, rotting bathroom window). With luck I can, after showing them that we just redid the entire freaking apartment, convince them that it is in fact in their best interest to keep us as happy tenants and not annoyed pissy tenants.

But still, huge (~1,400 sq ft) awsome apartment with a fireplace and cool mouldings and hardwoord floors and huge rooms and porches and...
So yeah, overall I really like the new place.
Fey is planning to move in not this coming weekend but the following, once again moving help would be appreciated."

"The weekend of March 5th-7th is going to be the housewarming party weekend at Fey & I's new apartment in the west-end of Hartford.

In addition, the afternoon/evening of the 6th we will be hosting my friend Xta's going away party.

Much hanging out is planned, along with gaming, geeking, joking, food, silliness, etc. You should all come.
there is plenty of horizontal space to crash on, and some of it may even be padded if we have managed to send an expedition to rescue our couches from the frozen wilderness.
If you are reading this you are welcome to come. send me a comment or email me to RSVP. Food & drinks (non alcoholic) for the party are welcome. If you feel an overwhelming urge to get us a housewarming gift ask one of us and I'm sure we can come up with something we desperately need for the place." :)
