I hate trim!
Feb. 21st, 2004 03:14 am*sigh* "I have been paint, sanding, spackling, scrubbing, stripping or otherwise working on some aspect of redoing this apartment nearly every day for the last twenty days and I am sick and tired of it. I just want the damn place to be done. But I still need to finish the trim in two rooms, and sand/scrub/paint the trim in another plus assorted other smaller tasks.
But at least the place looks noticably better. All the preiwinkle walls have been repainted, and the kitchen is now done in very light greens w/ white trim instead of hte universal yellowish-brown it was.
But still, I don't want to have to do this anymore. I want to no longer have paint on my hands and clothes all the time. I want to be able to wear decent clothes instead of staying in the paint-spattered ones since I am constantly painting.
Tomorrow we move Fey into here, and all her stuff. And hopefully this weekend we'll borrow DarkLepus' minivan to go retrieve the living room couch & chairs and some other furniture from my family's cottage.
Ok I have done enough house painting, now can the weather kindly turn warm enough that I can do some car painting?"
