Car title update.

  "Spoke this morning (9am) to a woman there who said she was looking at the title in front of her (which proves they were lying when they said it was mailed). She said they had lost my address and that was why I never got it. Promised she'd send it out overnight today and call me when she had with a confermation and/or tracking #.
  Didn't hear anything. Called back at 4pm and was told by the same guy I keep talking to that it had been mailed (I think this is the only thing he knows how to say). Asked for my confermation number to prove it was mailed and got a 'Jim has that.' Got "Jim"'s # and called him only to get voicemail and leave a message.
  Jim is going to get hourly messages until I hear back from him with proof it was mailed. And I do mean hourly.
  Just left yet another nastyugram message on the office's voicemail as well.

  They seem to think they can give me the run-around and I'll take it and eventually give up. They fail to understand that I am full capable of being an asshole if the situation demands it. And boy does this demand it. And with all the stress in my life right now I would really love the chance to legally rip into someone and make their life miserable."

Car title update, possibly resolved.

  "Well I heard back from 'Jim'. Turns out Jim is the owner, and the only one who actually handles the titles. Turns out there was a lot of mis-communication between him and Lee (they guy I've been talking to on the phone). Seems that the title didn't even make it to the office until Saturday, and Lee not wanting to admit this has been giving me the run-around.
  Spoke to Jim personally, he promised that the title would be in the mail today and at my house tomorrow. His secratary called me about two hours later and told me the DHL guy hadn't showed and that she was personally delivering the package to the DHL office, and gave me a tracking number. Should be here after 10:30am tomorrow, most likely around 2pm.
  Still perturbed, but feeling much better that it appears to have been a peon dicking me around, and not the actual owner.
  With luck I can get the title and get to the DMV before they close tomorrow and have car all legal and nice for Wednesday. Or if I miss DMV tomorrow I'll go first thing Wed morning on my way to work."
