"I was wondering if anyone had a digital videocamera (and even more helpfully the ability to edit videos made on same) that I could borrow this weekend?
Why? Because Velvet and I have gotten a hold of a Chevy Astrovan that is going to be junked. And we want to put it through its paces (read: drive the snot out of it and otherwise destroy it) before it gets towed off. And because we know a lot of people out in internet land would love to see a minivan being raced, jumped, etc. we want to film it and post it on the internet.
We promise to take good care of the camera and not run it over with the van. Also if anyone in the CT area wants to come watch, drop me a line. This will likely happen some time this weekend."
