"Ok, so a coworker suggested I try taking this stuff called Airborne for my cold. It basicly hits your system with a ton of vitamins, minerals, suppliments, etc. designed to help fend off illnesses. Doesn't taste very good, but man is it doing *something*. My eyebrows were tingling before i even finished drinking it down, and now I'm wide awake (in an actually awake sort of way, and not a caffiene buzz sort of way), and feel better than I have in days. Whee!
Today's symptom-of-the-day? Gravelly voice. Throat actually feels almost better (except for irritation from still slightly dribbly nose), but my voice is down an octave or so and very rough.
Plan is to take sudafed for the nose dribble, drink lots more tea, and try the throat lozenges also made by the airborne folx. But I'm planning at this point to head up to Boston for the weekend."
