The weekend
May. 25th, 2007 07:33 pmToday I decided to no go up to Boston, as the two people I most wanted to see at Diesel were both highly unlikely to be there, and I have plans bright and early tomorrow.
Tomorrow bright and shiny in the AM velvet and I are driving to NYC, we're hoping to arrive around 10-11am, and are going to look at this bug. Then he's heading off to borrow a van and go camping. I haven't decided if I'm going to bomb around the city for a bit or just head back after bug checkin'. Any NYC people want to hang out?
Then from after bug through Monday I have no plans. At some point(s) I'm going to continue the work on Emily[1], but that won't take up a lot of the weekend.
Then Monday I have off of work, and that afternoon I'm going to Lincoln RI to look at another bug. Which is an amusing way to bookend the weekend.
[1] any sufficiently masochistic locals are welcome to help me grind, sand, paint, polish, scrub to get the bodywork done and the interior ready to re-install.
