Mister Fancy Pants
Jun. 15th, 2007 09:36 amSo for those who may have possibly missed it.
A judge in D.C. is suing a dry cleaner for fifty four million dollars (down from $67+ million) for losing his pants.
Yes, you read that right.
Even better,
he burst into tears in the courtroom explaining the story.
"These are not my pants," Pearson recalled telling Chung when she handed him a pair of gray pants with cuffs. "I have in my adult life, with one exception, never worn pants with cuffs."
"And she said, 'These are your pants.' "
Pearson paused. He struggled to breathe deeply. He could not continue. Pearson blurted a request for a break, stood up, turned around and walked out of the courtroom, tears dripping from his full and reddened eyes.
This guy is completely insane.
Though now I have this great image of a guy being chased, horror-movie style, through darkened streets by a little Korean woman. With her waving a pair of slacks and yelling "THESE... ARE... YOUR... PANTS!"
